Orbit – a musical ‘cosmic dance’ of two entities in an orbit around each other: moon & earth; emo & ratio; the dreamy recorder line & the steady piano backbone… The general atmosphere of the song is meditative and rather introvert.
Karin Thevissen (°1969) is an amateur composer, pianist and recorder player. Her compositions are based on recurrent and repetitive motifs. In 2012, she won an amateur composer contest linked to ‘Festival Classique’ in The Hague, The Netherlands. In her professional life, she is a Business Developer & Innovation Manager at University of Leuven, Belgium
