Kazuyuki TAGUCHI
I was born in Kagoshima in 1982, and studied at Kagoshima University (Mathematics, the department of education). I taught myself composition.
My works have won some awards including Togashi Prize of the 26th JSCM Award for Composers (Chief juror: Tsuyoshi TSUTSUMI, 2009), the 1st prize of the 2nd Hiroshima Composition Competition (Chief juror: Hiromi UENO, 2010), the finalist of the 27th JSCM award for composers (Chief juror: Tomiko KOHJIBA, 2010). My pieces have been selected for Nozomi UEDA Recital „Dokutto Clarinet!“ (Chief juror: Joji YUASA, 2010), contemporary music series “eX.” produced by Motoharu KAWASHIMA and Akiko YAMANE (2011), and invited to the concert of JSCM members „Independent 2011“. A member of „The Hōgaku Composers Alliance 2010“.
